“From the first enquiry, a rapid visit that followed and a quotation, to the end, there was excellent communication. Value was very good and Mark’s analysis of options for the installation was the swaying note. We took our time over the final decision for a heat pump. Then our choice had a longer wait time but again there was a new option in the meantime and we ended up with a better overall fit for our situation. Final timing and execution was very well handled by Sharon and Mark. Now the weather just needs to get ‘cooler’ to test the unit for its intended purpose although we could not resist ‘other trials’ that have gone very well. Many thanks for a job well done,

Hi Mark, 
Just writing a quick note to say a big thank-you for doing such a wonderfuly tidy job on our recent heat pump installation. It has been in and running like a dream to date, and we are very happy with the size, following on from your sound advice on the E3 unit, and on the positioning of the units (both inside and out).  We now get good flow even into the front bedrooms!  Keep up the cool work : )

WE PURCHASED OUR RETIREMENT HOME IN FOXTON TO BE CLOSER TO OUR FAMILY,UNFORTUNATELY AFTER MOVING IN WE WERE TOLD BY NEIGHBOURS THAT IT HAD BEEN THE LOCAL 'P' HOUSE.WE WERE DEVASTATED, COMING FROM OUT OF THE AREA AND BEING IGNORANT OF DRUGS WE HAD NO IDEA,THE HOUSE WAS TESTED AND FOUND TO BE BADLY CONTAMINATED,WHICH MEANT A COMPLETE STRIP OUT OF EVERYTHING BACK TO THE FRAMING IN THREE QUARTERS OF IT,ALSO EVERYTHING ELECTRICAL IN THE WHOLE HOUSE.
OUR STORY HIT THE PRESS AND WE WERE AMAZED AT THE HELP WE RECEIVED FROM THE LOCAL COMMUNITY ,AFTER FIVE MONTHS OF HARD WORK AND EXPENSE WE MOVED BACK INTO OUR HOME.ONE OF THE THINGS THAT WENT IN THE STRIP OUT WAS OUR ONLY HEAT SOURCE ,A HEAT PUMP,WE WERE VERY SURPRISED WHEN MARK CONTACTED US AND TOLD US THAT HE HAD ARRANGED WITH FUJITSU TO GET A BRAND NEW HEAT PUMP AND THAT HE WAS GOING TO INSTALL IT FOR US ALL FOR FREE. WHAT A DIFFERENCE, WE NOW HAVE A WARM DRY HOUSE THANKS TO FUJITSU AND HOKOWHITU ELECTRICAL.

"I recently required some electrical work and installation of a heat pump in a rental property I have in Palmerston North.
As I live north of Auckland I searched the web for an electrician that could carry out all the work required. I chose to give Mark a call as his advertisement covered all I was looking for, including the fact that he was an owner/operator. On speaking to Mark I was confident that he could be relied upon to carry out the work required. He liaised with my property manager and worked in with other contracters to get the work done within the time frame.

"I approached Mark regard regarding fitting a heating system for our home with a mono-pitch roof. He came and conducted a pre-visit and offered a number of solutions to choose depending on our budget. The first meeting made me feel very comfortable about the work that was to come, It wasn't just about another customer fitting but ensuring that the system was designed and installed in a way that would be most effective and aesthetically pleasing in all of the rooms. The price that Mark also quoted was extremely competitive and so it seemed a no-brainer to go ahead. We left Mark a set of Keys. The system was installed over a week. We even managed to add a few extra vents to the plan. Each night we came back to a nice tidy house and a great deal of progress. We had a full ducted system which I know would have been pretty difficult to install given the space that he would have had to work inside the roof space.
The difference to our family has been amazing. Before the installation we had a gas fire on a timer which warmed the lounge and dining/kitchen area. With three young children it was always a dash to the fire in the morning for them to get warm and changed. Now with the new system we have a fully heated house. Getting up in the middle of the night for the feeds is now comfortable. The whole family are warm and happy all thanks to Mark. Lots of our friends have commented on the difference and quality of workmanship. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone thinking of having work done."

"Having approached Mark in 2009 re a Quote to install a Fujitsu heat pump in the Rose City Aquatic Clubrooms at the Lido Complex in Park Road P N, his was the best quote out of Five. The Installation was done very professionally and tidily and has been problem free.
In June 2013 I approached Mark again for a second unit and His quote was actually slightly below the first one and he installed it without any problems.
